Uses essential oils in holistic treatments to improve physical and emotional well being. Essential oils extracted from plants possess distinctive therapeutic properties whose physiological and psychological effects combine well to promote positive health, and the relaxation of the client.

Holistic massage

This treatment manipulates the soft tissue to effect the systems of the body, resulting in therapeutic and relaxing effects. Although the touch used, is mentally and physically soothing, it can also be stimulating.

Indian head massage

Has many advantages, no need to undress, with the client in a seated position. The treatment is ideal for less able bodied clients and it can be performed almost anywhere and is suitable for most people, including small children. A gentle and relaxing massage applied to the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, head and face.
The use of oils is optional, and increases the efficacy of the treatment. The hair will be exposed to any oil used.

Reflexology

Is a therapy that uses the feet and/or hands as a map, or mirror of the whole body. By manipulating, massaging and applying gentle pressure to certain parts of the feet/hands, the body can be brought back into "balance", thus treating the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms.
This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy state.
Reflexology can detect imbalances in the body and although not a "cure" it acts as an aid for the bodies self-healing.

Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles)

Earcandles produce a light suction action. The movement of the flame creates a gently vibrating column of air within the candle. This results in a massage-like effect on the eardrum.
A pleasant warmth is experienced, resulting in a balance of pressure within the ears, forehead and sinuses. The treatment is beneficial for earache, headache, ear noise, stress, and nervousness and can bring about clearer breathing through the nose and an improved sense of smell.

Consultation (1st treatment only. No charge)

Consultations require that the client completes a confidential health questionnaire. This is followed by a detailed discussion of the clients responses. If treatment is appropriate, this will follow the discussion.
Please note that any current interventions by other practitioners, may preclude treatment. Telephone 07776 306 809, to discuss any issues in absolute confidence.

Aromass only employs professionally qualified practitioners who must be registered with a recognised body.
